  • Host plant to butterflies and moths like the Luna Moth, Spiny Oakworm moth, and the Early Hairstreak butterfly

    • 2 - 1 gallon pots

    • Full to part sun (full sun will produce greater harvest)

    • Well drained soil (needs regular watering the first year of planting)

    • Plants start producing 2-3 years after planting

    • Mature plants produce 3-10 pounds of nuts (in shell) per year
