Our Story
Hi! I'm Chelsea. This is my family.
Discovery Wilderness School began as a dream in my heart in 2017 when I was just a couple years into homeschooling my daughters. I was looking for real, meaningful relationships for myself and my girls, deeply rooted in nature. In 2018, with the help of my Aunt, I launched our small nature-program in a park. We moved to our more permanent location of Little Pine Island Camp in 2019, and we've been learning and growing in such wonderful ways since then. The students, their families, and teachers found our program and joined at just the perfect time along the journey. Its been such a magical experience to be part of. I'm so glad you're here.
