Step outside the classroom and into the living laboratory of the natural world! This year’s Botany Field Trip Series invites students to explore local ecosystems, connect scientific concepts with hands-on discovery, and experience how plants shape—and sustain—life around us.

For current Botany Field Study Students - use this sign up for the prorated price of $45 if you missed the first two field trips in November and January.
Specific Fridays during the school year
9:45am-12:30pm (Bring your own picnic lunch)
Join us for a hands-on series designed to bring botany and ecology to life through direct exploration, fieldwork, and creative problem-solving. Each visit connects science with stewardship, inviting students to experience the interwoven systems of plants, soil, water, and design in action.
March 20 — Measuring the Ripple Effect
Trace the flow of life through our watershed. Students will model local watershed systems, conduct real water quality testing, and investigate the factors that shape the health of swamps, streams, vernal pools, and their many inhabitants.
