Dogwood Class

The Dogwood Class invites young children to explore the outdoors with growing independence, imagination, and wonder. Daily adventures through forest trails, fields, and streams build strength, balance, and confidence as students climb, hike, and move through natural terrain.

Hands-on nature activities like journaling, wildcrafting, and seasonal art nurture fine motor skills and emerging academic curiosity. Children engage in playful games that heighten their senses and deepen connection to place. Social-emotional learning is woven throughout the day as we practice listening, sharing, problem-solving, and caring for one another in our close-knit outdoor community.

Dogwoods 2025-2026 

for students age 6*

This class will meet three days per week (Monday, Wednesday, and/or Thursday). You can choose to enroll your child for one, two, or all three days. The weekly theme will remain consistent, but each day will offer unique learning experiences and activities. This allows you to customize your child's level of nature immersion. ​

**AGE NOTE* Redbud (age 5) and Dogwood (age 6) courses are combined during enrollment. Classes will be split based on student age. You will learn your course placement prior to Family Welcome Night.
